Trunk-or-Treat

October 25, 2025

4:00pm - 6:00pm

30 Van Horne Ave to Queen Street!

The safe way to trick-or-treat! All the fun with none of the fuss.

Trunk-or-treat is where community members and businesses gather on the closed street, decorate their trunks, and hand out candy! It is a great alternative to going door-to-door, and makes the festivities inclusive to all children, no matter the age or ability. Not to mention, it is much more convenient on the adults. Trick-or-treating can be fun for everyone!

Be carefree or get creative!

Not the decorating type? That’s OK! A vehicle and candy is all you need.

Want to blow everyone away with your Halloween spirit? Have at it! The most impressive scenes will be acknowledged in our decoration contest! With many categories to snag the win in, we have prizes for all the trunks that put in lots of effort!

Not only is this great for the kids and parents, it’s also inclusive for the elderly and community members who do not live in “trick-or-treating territory” to come out and enjoy the night! Our event location is right in front of our assisted living facility, giving the opportunity for all ages to enjoy the costumed children running amok!

Something for everyone!

We want to make sure every trick-or-treater gets something. If community members aren’t in trick-or-treating territory, or chose to opt out, we accept candy donations! All donors will receive a sign to hang on their door letting kids know their candy is at Trunk or Treat! Donations can be dropped off at City Hall!

We also give one lucky winner a door prize, so make sure you scan our QR codes at any entrance point and enter your name to win!
